How could any SENSIBLE person suggest that the Lands Minister redigns because some illegal miners died while violating our mining laws. Must the Minister of interior resigns because some armed robbers died during operation?

In fairness, I think the Lands Minister under whose watch those pits were constructed in the first place ought to be brought in to Parliament to answer some questions.

Those who were buried never cared for the future of the country so I for one don't care a farthing about their burial in the pit. This minister is one of the best who has fought galamsey and reduced it.
What questions are parliamentarians going to ask him when some of them are embroiled in bribery scandals. Let Parliament question herself first

Since you became a minister, see how galamsey has reduced. Let them complain. How much efforts and education have you not made to stop galamsey? Those who were buried near Prestea knew they did not need to be there. That is why they went there at night. I am sorry a search and rescue team were sent there. After all, they had been buried. There was no need for any coffin. All what was needed was a mass funeral for them. They were just a band of idiots who will nor listen and learn.
Just ignore those who want your downfall. We love you because we know you care for the future of Ghana.

I wonder the kind of parliamentarians we have in Gh, a flock of unintelligent squad who only care about their selfish interest. Mr Amewu has proven beyond every reasonable doubt his courage to fight this canker that most of them supported when they were in power at the expense of our environment. Or probably Mr Amewu asked the galamsayers to go n mine in the night. Ghanaians are fast becoming abreast with these kind of good for nothing stomach politicians in our society.
