How could any SENSIBLE person suggest that the Lands Minister redigns because some illegal miners died while violating our mining laws. Must the Minister of interior resigns because some armed robbers died during operation?

In fairness, I think the Lands Minister under whose watch those pits were constructed in the first place ought to be brought in to Parliament to answer some questions.

  • Frank Agyena-Karikari 6 years ago

Were those pits constructed under his watch? Don't tell what you don't know. Did he bring the Chinese and their machines to start the Galamsey business. Those who were buried never cared for the future of the country so I for ...

Exactly what I mean. The pits were constructed under the watch of the former Lands Minister under President Mahama's government. He's the one who has some questions to answer.

This Mutawakilu or whatever, should rather resign for wasting press space by making such a primary school level statement

Kofi, l thank you so much for your analogy. I think you even have to replace that idiot who is asking for the resignation of the minister. He lacks intellectual faculty. Look at such idiot occupying such position.

  • Frank Agyena-Karikari 6 years ago

No need to resign. You have been one of the best and I don't think Nana will accept your resignation letter. There are many politicians in league with Chinese who are destroying our environment and water bodies. They see you ...

You are a world class minister. I like the way you respond to these babies. This is clear evidence of an intellectual. Cool and collected but belittling his opponents.

i admire the way the lands minister has conducted himself. Why should any meaningful parliamentarian ask the minister to resign all because people have died as a result of pure defiance of the law n selfish interest? I wonder ...

A Ghanaian or African gov't minister to resign? It is rare, it doesn't happen just like that.

  • Adensa 6 years ago

There is so much to do and your Minister is often at the scene to face galamsey yet you are undermining him. Shame unto you mate. This is not the done thing at all?

  • Nana Addai 6 years ago

The minority wants their names to be heard by making silly comments and statements. They are even losers in opposition. Ghana deserves better.
