what are these people doing here.
at the end of the day the poor man wants drinking water, adequate sanitation and medical facilities and ability to send their children to school and hopefully earn a reasonable livining

The various sub-metros are not working.

People are putting up kiosks, spraying booths right in the middle of residential areas.

Garages are springing up along road sides and in residential areas like nobodies business.

What on earth are you sanitising?

Please step aside voluntarily before the masses demand it period.

What else do you expect from the citizenry.

Local governance in Ghana is hopelessly useless. As commentators have pointed out, the necessary laws, regulations and bye laws exist for our existence as normal human beings but the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives do not ensure their enforcement.
In the essential but easy to check area of excessive noise making by beer parlours and music shops which have sprung up along the roads, the MMDAs are not ready to check the nuisance. Ghanaians are getting sick from noise pollution. How can we reflect in the midst of this bedlam? In my neighbourhood on the Opeikuma Road at Kasoa, a group of hoodlums from Nigeria have set up camp and play excessively loud music the like of which Ghanaians have never experienced, 24 hours a day and though complaints have been lodged with the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly and the District Police Headquarters, no action has been taken to abate the nuisance.
Just across the street from SNNIT Hospital, Osu, extremely loud music from a roof top bar prevent the patients from sleeping. How long can we live if common sleep eludes us. When officials our taxes pay to protect us fail us what prevents us the citizens from using any means possible to stop those who daily assault us?
Hajia, you have the task of supervising the discharge of government's responsibilities towards the citizens. You have to discard the academic "pomposity" and don the garb of a revolutionary. Go round, the whole country is your mandate. Crack the whip but first pay a visit to the Obojo- Weija Road and you would understand the anger and resentment of the people against your ministry.
