    It was meant to influence members of the committee. Even lawyer David Lamptey indicated in his memo that the request for money was meant to 'push ' the bill. Thus the money was bribe.

    I heard this jerk say on a radio station yesterday that he saw nothig wrong with being paid C1,000.00 as night allowance by NLA.I really hope he was only joking.

    were they sent there by the NLA or parliament to do parliamentary work which they are entitled to a specific amount as per diem. under no circumstance should they have receive their per diem from NLA
