What a pity!
Tarkwa is a gold mining town and its shame there're no facilities that can diagnose rabies. Ministers and regular people can afford to pay 80,000 dollars or more for cars when your health care is this bad!!

Ghana needs to be serious about this manace of rabies. Rabies is killing many youth, elderly and females.
Government must facilitate mass vaccination of most dogs annually against rabies. These segment of our population have the right to live as Ghanaians in Ghana.
The simple way to prevent these unnecessary deaths is to give Veterinary Services Department the logistics to organize Rabies Campaigns. Are we waiting for foreign consultants of IMF or World Bank or China to come and tell us what to do???
