Instead of enforcing our laws to shape attitudes, our leaders still think as if "sermons" and preachings will shape attitudes. We have the constitution and you're talking about attitudinal problems..myopic leadership

Yes, we should start looking at the clergy(pastors, imam) first and then the officials.

The problem in this country is leadership.
Majority of the elected personnel see their appointment as an avenue to enrich themselves.
Their party has won a trophy and the spoils that come with it is theirs and theirs alone to share amongst themselves high and low.
You have an Attorney General & Auditor General who have been empowered with all the Laws to handle corruption in whatever form and shape.
With all the crimes committed by Politicians and Public Servants with all the evidence available the Auditor General and Attorney General just looked the other way.
It took Occupy Ghana through the ruling from the Supreme Court of Ghana to compel these 2 bodies to act something which should not have happened in the first place.
People are clamouring for positions not to serve Ghana but to enrich themselves and their immediate family.
Ones they get the Position they make all the necessary excuses for a new Toyota Land Cruiser V8 to be procured
even if there is one which is just a year old.
They have a rapacious demand for everything that comes their way.
When it comes to the actual work which they have been employed, their attitude is abysmal.
Very greedy and grasping, visionless and just political in nature.
They just run down on state institution one after another and at the end of the day.
The Politicians are just wicked and visionless from the first republic to todate.
The amount of Revenue including Loans & Grants which have come into this country is just sufficient to transform this country over and over.
But what do we see 1 step forward 5 steps backward.
There are too many models available for economic development from the classical European to the Asian Model.
We choose the easiest and broad road which leads to destruction.
We are now in a vicious cycle.
We cannot even produce and feed ourselves with the best vegetation in the sub region. Its Burkina Faso a country in the Sahel region with poor soil and weather condition which is now feeding Ghana.
What a shame.
This country has a serious problem and we call on the all mighty to intervene.
'Where there is no vision the people perish' as the Holy Bible says.
That is where we find ourselves now.
God have mercy on this country, because we don't have leaders.
