What's more, government is not even maintaining the lands. All these lands the minister is talking about are infested with all types of dangerous snakes. They are also hideouts for armed robbers who frequently operate in the area. What's wrong if these lands are sold to individuals to develop or given back to the original land owners? And government is doing the same thing in Accra; why not Ho? Does Letsa have the resources to maintain these lands that are interspersed among building in the area? This is not about NDC or NPP (in fact I don't belong to either) but about speedy development of the regional capital.

The regional minister should not only stop further selling of state lands but should help retrieve the lands from these private developers and then punish those officials who sold the lands.
If the minister wants to protect state lands he should send those corrupt officials to court for prosecution and stop making unnecessary noise.
