The real cause of accident in this country , is the way we construct our roads, that has contributed for the breakdown vehicle to pack in the middle of the road.
in Advance world where people used their head to think, any motor way has 3lannes and a lined side space for breaking vehicles to quickly pull out from the main lanes.
in the 3 lanes ,
the first lane immediate to your far left , is meant for faster vehicles who want to do overtaking, the middle lane is meant for steady tempo speedy vehicle, and the last on your right is meant for the slow cars/ vehicles
this tells you that b4 the car stop it movement , you could pull over from the lanes to the towing wayside space to allow free flow of traffic.
what did we see in this country , there is no high way in this country, and even the motorways are facing each other with 100km/h are you not mad ?
this is what is called shallow minded

Our leaders should stop wasting time on this towing issues and concentrate on building better roads in this country Ghana.
The simply and short thing to do with the towing issues is to sell all the already government acquired towing trucks to private companies. Give them the mandate to tow any broken vehicle in or on the road side all over the country and charge the owners for fees. The towing companies should keep 80% of the proceeds, the 20% should be divided among the municipality, the district, the region and the central government into whatever fund they want.
This is simple as ABC. Why do our leaders make things difficult in this country? Is it because they are always putting their interest ahead of mother Ghana? We can't continue to see live perishing on our roads because of a broken vehicle, however, it is not the business of the government to do the towing.

HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD ONE CAR BE TOLL IN A YEAR, SOME CARS ARE TOO OLD AND WILL BREAK DOWN ALMOST EVERY WEEK. GOVERNMENT SHOULD CHARGE IF YOU CALL MORE THAN TWICE.

Nonsence compulsory towing fee, where is this country going, can we have somebody at least who can think, what kind of stupid idea is that it will reduce accident, roads in Ghana don't even have warning signs, so you wait until accident or a car breaks down then you go and tow, rubbish,
Else where more emphasis is put on maintenance, look at the stupidity on our roads, from overloading to vehicles without road worthy and our police look on, and then you talk about towing unbelievable, show me a single politician who thinks right bulshit
