  In opposition Nana Addo taught defiance of authority played to his advantage. Do anyone remember when Nana defied Pres Mahama on the Kumasi market fires where the President (Mahama) ordered the market be evaluated for a modern market to be constructed? Nana Addo encouraged people of Kumasi market to defy the President and even went ahead to donate building materials to the affected shop and stall owners to repair and stay on in the congested market. In opposition Nana enjoyed defiance and lawlessness and again would rather stay silent and act passive when it comes to sensitive issues.
