  Weapon management is a very critical issue that must be considered as a matter of priority in security management of this country. But I can tell you for a fact that no one cares. When there are criminal incidents related with guns,that is when, We only read new articles in the print and electronic medias and some comments on radios, after that NO ACTION IS TAKEN. I advise that the Agencies mandated by the International communities should stop the criticism and get seriously to work. I suggest that in Ghana, let start weapon management first in the various Security/Defense Forces, before we go out there on the civilian populace. Why I am saying so? For is example in Ghana, I know for sure that all Security/Defense Forces use AK47 AR. If you like collect a sample each of a particular country made AK47 AR Folded Batt with a particular Original Factory Marking or Stamp (serial number withheld), from the Army, the Police and the Customs. Bring these 3 weapons together and invited any Officer from the Security/Defense to identify which one of these 3 weapons belongs to his/her institution. The results you will get, would inform you, why my advice on the State Security institutions. I know these are security matters that should be handled with care. The UN Agencies and the Locals Authorities mandated with weapons control and management, Let's us all Keep Ghana Safe.
