He claimed corruption increased to insane levels under John Mahama and accused them of departing from the values of probity and accountability which formed the basis under which the party was formed. According to him, it was mainly because of the corruption that the NDC lost power to the governing New Patriotic Party.

There is no problem if 2 Moslems rules Ghana or 2 Christians rules Ghana. Focus on your Job as the Vice President and do your job as the president is doing.

Amissah Arthur's name is not even among the top 5 NDC contenders for 2020, although he was VP under Mahama. IF and WHEN the time comes, Nana Addo can't impose his vice on the party. Delegates will vote and many factors come into play, including money, popularity, competence and contribution to party in whatever ways, for example. There could be dark horses, disappointments and surprises. So why ignore all these to make that stupid reference to tribe? I am very sorry but you sound like a coconut head today.

Over one billion Islam followers with 10% radicals/terrorist means the world has more than 100 million terrorist with nukes or bombs and killing each other where there are no Christians or Jews to kill. Now how about that for a peaceful religion?

But look at comments here just bcos the vice president has invited Muslim religious leaders for prayer. I remember very well that the first places of worship the vice president visited were churches including dag-heward mills church, did u condemn him for that? The man is a Muslim and that's it. He cannot throw away his faith bcos he wants to become president of Ghana. Muslims don't need to be presidents in Ghana to be proper Muslims. Muslims are presidents in other countries, some of which are more powerful than Ghana. Since independence only Christians have been president and what has changed? Corruption, greed, selfishness, mention it. We're still a third world country, a country without a single multinational company owned by Ghanaians. So for me, it's not about religion or who becomes president, it's about who can help transform this country. If u go to the hospital for medical care, u don't go asking whether a doctor is a Christian or Muslim, u want a competent doctor to take care of u. The beautiful thing is that ghana is a sircular country; u don't need to be Christian, Muslim, atheist, traditionalist, Hindu, Jew, Buddhist etc to become president. We need a competent person, period.
