I doff my heart to the retired CJ. I worked with her on the Justice for ALL program, when it first started, and I saw the passion and commitment to ensure that our prisons were decongested of remand prisoners and such prisoners do not overstay.
She did a remarkable job. She was so committed to ensuring justice. May the Almighty Allah be with her, in her retirement

It is very sad to read the acclaimed "achievements" of the retired Chief Justice. Most of her "achievements" are around infrastructure, cars, houses, development of the lawyers through funding them to acquire Masters degree, etc., of the legal service only. How can these be achievements which do not benefit the larger Ghanaian society?
If the economy of Ghana is being well-managed and effective resource planning is undertaken, should issues of infrastructure development rather than efficient and effective legal service delivery be what the Chief Justice be concerned with? Isn't it under her reign that judges and lawyers were taking bribes, goats, etc.?
We Ghanaians expect our legal delivery system to be like a well oiled machine rather than a machine which is constantly breaking down and constantly being repaired. At the moment except few distinguished individual lawyer we don't have trust, believe, and reliability in the legal system as it seems it isn't fit for purpose as most of the players in there don't seem to have conscience and integrity.
A lawyer's achievement should not be about provision of infrastructure rather should be about efficient and effective legal service delivery. We should stop praising mediocrity.

The first Lady Chief Justice has done the best she could to achieve and protected the interest of the citenry of our country. Please do not be a hollow minded thinker.

You live in Germany I presume where the system is run efficiently and effectively. Are those systems not run by human beings? Have ever wondered why the German system is functioning as it does? Ask the Justice Minister of his or her achievements to find out if he or she will list infrastructure as part of her achievements. What will be a chief justice's achievements if justice delivery is inefficient and ineffective?
