  I agree with your comment. Do you want bans on Ghanaians in Nigeria, USA, UK, Germany, Italy, etc to also be banned from trading????? The world is no longer Ghana. You want manufacturing to come to Ghana (foreigners to bring their money, set up businesses to provide jobs, pay SSNIT contributions, pay taxes, etc). How many traders sitting on sidewalks pay tax??????? Why is it fair that companies that come and setup businesses and supermarkets pay taxes, light bills, water bills, create jobs, provide uniforms, pay fair wages charge the same for products or less and the Ghanaian trader sells and pockets the money. Is this what you want because if it is the government of Ghana no matter who it is will never be able to help Ghanaians improve roads, schools, medicine, hospitals etc. You are dreaming when you try to single out people that are in actual fact helping the country. Example is the Chinese who are doing illegal mining or Ghanaians who are the leaders of the problem. Was it foreigners who killed an innocent soldier (Ghanaian) because of backwardness and greed. The truth will come out and the familly left behind by the actions of short sighted individuals will ask for forgiveness, is that what you want. Let Ghanaians compete they can and will be very successful but dont hide behind the fact that you want advantages or use it as a political weapon to vent your displeasure that you lost the election and want to charge that this government made promises and didnt help you. HELP YOURSELF>

  Rules are meant to be obeyed and not frown upon. Charles Ahenkrowah you act to enforce the laws in the books and do not talk to their Embassies. If you run a Red Light, the police esquires why you run the light. If your answers are not persuasive, you either get a warning citation or you get a ticket to appear in court. Its the County and national regulation which must be obeyed or you loose your license to drive. Stop the invading Chinese, Nigerians in the retail business. Its strictly the reserve of Ghanaian traders. STOP THEM and don't engage their embassies. Ghanaians are being denied refund for bounced visa applications without recourse to the government so why should the Ministry of Trade engage in talks with illegal traders violating our laws? Shake yourself Alan "Cash" Kyeremanteng. Follow the laws and save jobs for the Ghanaian trader. Retail is for the indigenous people, period.
