Maurice Ampaw is rather the loud mouth know all lawyer who should rather shout. This is the appalling attitude of these Ghanaian lawyers who think they are over and above the laws of the land and therefore when a regulatory body has found a practitioner's conduct unacceptable, they arrogantly think they should be let off.
Where then is responsibility, accountability and respect for trade regulations?
Maurice you better shut your big mouth. Being a lawyer doesn't make you repository of all knowledge and wisdom. Compliance is part of the rule of the game and as a lawyer you should know better

Ampaw's advice to Sosu to avoid aggravating hus situation by being on social media appears a sound advice, but his advice to us non lawyers to "shut up", is nonsense and deserves contempt. Lawyers do not exist in a vacuum. Their behaviour affects us all. Their misbehaviour also affects us all. The classic Ghana Ian impulse to authoritarianism is in display here. Ampaw would bully the non lawyer citizenry, or perhaps he will use this outburst as one of the ways for him to get his name mentioned in the press since he is not allowed to advertise his services as a lawyer.
