I agreed 100% with the professor, the action and inaction of Ghanaian politicians are truly killing Ghanaian businesses.

Prof. Adei, did you present these situations as research work for the students at the University? What you are revealing is not registering to many ears. They are like stories and dead tomorrow if never repeated. Our universities are the best sources for fact-finding issues that face the nation. They become problem-solving institutions for documentations and so forth. Where are the references to help avoid mistakes for tomorrow?
The research work undertaking by our students only validates work already implemented. Real day to day problems in our Government and Social agenda require the minds of our graduates to solve. Just like proofing a mathematical theory wrong or showing more effective ways beyond that first theory.
What is lacking in our society is good analyses and the proper steps presented to show solutions. Chew pour, pass and forget has under rated our capacity to think. We only look for the end result but fail to find the details to arrive at conclusions.
First, the way students are taught in our schools in part is contributing to this very observation you make. Second, the country is lacking data libraries for references. Lastly and not the least, we need to demand professors to show their work on social issues to further raise awareness. We also need to reward professors that inculcate originality in their works.
