One hand, the new NPP government of Nana Addo is making ten-day wonders by fighting illegal mining while on the other hand, his military appointees from the minister of Defense and now his CDS is lying and covering for the same illegality that they make all kinds of noise that they're fighting.

The minister of lands and mineral resources him self red-handedly arrested three Russian illegal miners in the bush way after the dead-line to stop all illegality with the supports of military personnel and still the military could NOT tell us who the hell had sent these men there to protect criminals.

These kinds of lies and cover up to make crooked leaders look good in the eyes of Ghanaians who are dead tied of these morally bankrupt so-called leaders who had refused to run this country well was the reasons why no one any longer have confidence in them, and that lack of confidence was what had propelled the towns people to have taken the laws into their own hands as victims of chained armed robbery of which the police in the area lacked the zeal to curb.

From what has come out in the open, Mining licences were issued legally to big mining companies who in turn sold their concessions to smaller gold prospectors including the Chinese and some Ghanaians etc for between $100,000 and £1m per concession and made colossal profits.
Now that the effects of such greed is surfacing, like destruction of the environment, rivers etc and killings, the chickens have now come to roost and you and I are feeling the effects of such ill-thought generosity.

Get that in your head.

All resident must leave and settle elsewhere at no cost to government. The military should then build a military base there permanently and call it FORT MAHAMA. Give the gallant soldier a state burial and burry him at Oboasi in the heart of the new military base. All accused persons when found guilty should be made to face the death penalty. The executions must take place at Denkyira Oboasi.I seriously recommend the military police be very instrumental in every aspect of this investigation.

Were the residents not aware of the presence of the military in the area? So why wouldn't the perpetrators listen to him when he told them that he was a soldier and not an armed robbery? Perhaps, the killing was planned for one or two reasons. For instance, like the DCE is saying that he was there to protect galamseyers. Another reason could be that the Captain was being seduced by the wife of one of the boys so they ganged up to do this mischief. The Police should not rule out any possibility. They should get to the roots and possibly do away with this kind of criminal act from the society.

And I am excellent thinker. I think candour and fairness are the pillars of any soceity with good future and NOTHING can replace these. Comb through history and you will come to this intelligence. Soldiers receive d training and guns they wield from d civillians you disrespect. They created the jobs you willingly signed up for.
I say this bcos in this sad case of my brother Capt Mahama every citizen is tending to approach this case with their hearts rather than their minds. Some think d millitary is more violent than d populace n so in a situation like this d millitary can b lawless as well. What abt d recent killing of a police escot by another police patrol team? Must police 1 brutalise police 2? Lol! Permit my tricks. That is why a sensible investigation must be allowed and root causes to this WHOLE COMEDY OF ERRORS TACKLED!! The military high command has not been able to as at now give any consistent reason for the detachment mission in the district of upper denkyira west. Are dey hiding something? 3. The head of the district security council, dce, who is a native of the district, born , bred and live in the district said the military is there to protect an illegality n was asked to shut up. The community of Denkyira Obuasi where capt Mahama met his untimely dead witnessed robbery on sunday, but was there no security follow up by the police n military even though they all to protect life n property.
