There must be sanctions for lying and smearing as well as bringing parliament into disrepute and causing economic harm through the investigation process. First if and as it has been proven he lied then he must ceased to be called Honourable in the first instance. We the public are getting to a stage where we cannot trust anything you say whether you have sworn on the Bible or the Koran because frankly it seems its becoming a norm for the political class. The reputational damage alone requires him to be sanctioned including a jail term.

When parliament hurriedly constituted a kangaroo committee to investigate itself, what was Amidu's reaction? We want him to comment on the breakdown of law and order in the country. We want him to retrieve Woyome's millions if he has the balls. We want him to comment on the Kenbonds scandal. This scandal would commit Ghana to repay over $7 billion in 15 years for borrowing $2.2 billions. The AG alleged she knew nothing about the deal even though she's a member of cabinet and we were told cabinet discussed the issuance of the bonds and the terms. The deal was brought before parliament even though the deals smells of international transaction. What's the self-acclaimed citizen vigilante's take on this serious matters affecting the country?
