THE 8 YEARS UNDER NDC HAVE BEEN DISASTROUS. ESPECIALLY THE LAST 6 YEARS WITH JOHN MAHAMA HAD A PROFOUND IMPACT ON GHANA. HE WAS STEALING HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS & CREATED A FREE FOR ALL SITUATION WHERE MEMBERS OF HIS GOVT SAW NOTHING WRONG WITH POCKETING A FEW MILLIONS. MAHAMA COULDN'T CHASTISE HIS TEAM BECAUSE HE WAS THE BEST THIEF IN CHARGE. 2- HIS NDC GOVT MINISTERS WELCOMED PIT MINING INVESTORS AS BUSINESS PARTNERS. MANY NDC FUNCTIONARIES OWN GALAMSEY OPERATIONS. AISHA HUANG BOASTED OF HER CONTACTS IN HIGH PLACES. 3- WHY SHOULD THE ARMY BE GUARDING PRIVATE MINERS WHEN IT COULDN'T PROVIDE SECURITY FOR TRANSPORT SERVICE PROVIDERS AND PASSENGERS PLYING THE NORTHERN ROUTE? 5- WHO INITIATED THE WATCHMAN CONTRACT BETWEEN 5BN AND C&J ALASKA MINING COMPANY? ANY OF THE MAHAMAS OWNING SHARES IN THE COMPANY? 6- DID IBRAHIM HAVE ANY INVOLVEMENT, SUCH AS SUPPLYING HEAVY MACHINERY? 7- WHO WAS THE COMMANDING OFFICER MAXWELL HAD TO REPLACE? WAS HE ANOTHER NORTHERN COUNTRYMAN? THERE ARE MANY MORE QUESTIONS.....WHY WERE HANNAH TETTEH & JOHN MAHAMA SO QUICK TO COMMENT? HANNAH TETTEH IS THE PERFECT CONTACT PERSON FROM CENTRAL REGION AND A CLOSE ALLY TO HANDLE THE BUSINESS. DID THE TOWNSPEOPLE GET TO KNOW THAT THE FORMER PRESIDENT'S NEPHEW WAS NOW IN CHARGE? CERTAINLY WORD WAS MAKING ROUNDS ABOUT C&J ALASKA, ITS REAL OWNERS AND THE COMPANY'S PERHAPS VERY POOR RELATIONS WITH LOCALS. MY CONCLUSION: THERE ARE SECRETS WE DON'T KNOW. THE JOGGING STORY, THE TWO WOMEN AND THE ASSEMBLY MAN, THE FIRST EXCHANGES BETWEEN MAXWELL & THE MOB ARE AS RELEVANTAS THEY ARE BIZARRE.

Is there really a need for a new parliament?
We have critical needs which require urgent attention and these guys are " fiddling while (Ghana) burns."

You are not abreast with the wishes and aspirations of Ghanaians.
We are overwhelmed and awashed with theft of gargantuan proportions and all we here is
1. about new chamber
2. More allowances for
parliamentarians
Are you that wicked.
When you have an army of youth who are not employed, at this your age you wouldn't take it as a responsibility to help in ameliorating this problem you are rather thinking of enriching the MPS.
Shame on you.

We beg you. Let us postponed and concentrate on Ghana development. Ghanaians are suffering, some people now found it difficult to get food to it. Let us use the little funds available for development. Let us managed what we have for now. I know our parliament is better than others somewhere but they are still managing it. Or better still let us source for grant and use it for that work.

Come to think of it, the whole of Job 600 this Huge edifice has been refurbished at a colossal sum of more US$200 million and has been allocated to the MPS, besides the Job 600 building there is another building which has been built for the parliamentarians.
There is another building close to the Ghana school of Journalism which was refurbished for Parliamentary Use but abandoned. I uses to service my car on that property about 20 years ago.
Now there is a Mercedes Benz workshop
operating on that property.
Mr. Speaker are you a Real Estate Developer that makes you have a strong affinity for acquiring properties.
The British Parliament, the MPs seat on Benches, there are no executive desks as we have in the Parliament in Ghana.
Be innovative.
A colossal amount of money was spent not less than 4 years in rehabilitating the current chamber.
Please Please for heaven sake, the buildings are more than enough for you.
I hope you are not thinking of bringing in 6ft executive desks for the MPs.
