  The La beach area has become an important tourist location for the whole country and should therefore not be left in the hands of the current mis-managers. The running of the place is so appalling compared to other beaches around the world, the government has to step in with a long term strategic plan for the entire area. The tourism ministry should have enough clout to take over such important places from traditional rulers who have no clue how to transform such national treasures.
