For any meaningful fight, Akuffo Addo should start from k4s time to JMs time, meaningfully. K4s governance wasn't immune from corruption, just that Prof Asomdwoe spared them. And that gave them the chance to spew trash to JM.

I am not sure of his mother for this interview but reading between the lines, it's obviously a political motive. Because he did not gave this clarion call to Mahama when he was in the position to do so. PS:This administration needs all the time and everything to bring corrupt ex public to book. The word "corruption", engulfs many sins. That's why Batidam may be confused as he stated in his interview. When the Executive Secretary or Chairman of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC), is reported to have said someone advised him to transfer a huge amount of money from the account of his Commission, into his private account, the mere act of such transfer constitute "theft". Every single country has laws which deals with theft. Theft is same as stealing. It is also a manifestation of "corruption". The fact that such a thing also occurred, may trigger any laws involving "conspiracy". Any person involved in moving that money may be culpable of conspiracy. There may also be "perjury" involved. The theft itself, may be "grand larceny", or "petite larceny", depending on the size of the money. The monies involved in the PURC theft, makes it grand larceny. A prosecutor has to go into court, and convince the court, with compelling evidence of the guilt of the accused. So a government can come into office, and it requires time to assemble the evidence no matter it's rhetoric before assuming power. Everything I have written here also holds true for the stealing that went on at the NCA, where it is believed, up to fifteen million American dollars were stolen. Then there is the CEO of a government entity who is also reported to have played fast and loose with the money of her organization and then disappeared to an overseas country, leaving her lawyers to threaten anyone who may think her a crook with defamation suits. Only in a primitive country like Ghana or Nigeria, can criminals be so brazen. As a first step, all assets of the people involved should be frozen. By "assets", I mean any cash in any banks, securities such as stocks and bonds, houses, cars, insurance policies. Since criminals like thus also hide their loot in the names of wives, children and girlfriends, those people should also be scrutinised. If it is discovered that a ten year old son of the official has a hundred thousand cedis in a bank account, then that ten year old should explain to GRA how they came to have that much money and if they paid taxes on that money. Batidam should not be confused. Rome, as they say, was not built in a day!

You hit the nail on the head. Corruption is given political colouration in Ghana by this government and that is where the problem is. We are not honest with ourselves. I have seen bribe takers but I did not see the political colouration. If it were so, then we won't be hearing of corruption within the first 5 months of this regime. It's the means by which our parties are funded. People have been removed from key positions because they will blow the lid of corrupt deals. Hence the government of friends and family by this government. Stealing is already on-going in the new government.
