Stupidity is when you are hungry yet you bought an umbrella to cover the heat . If the tax payer money can go into building just a memory which our leaders will tell us it cost millions why dont you leave people to trade and pay a little Tax ? If only a nation leader is sensible this is what you must think of .

“Today Circle has become a beauty to behold. The street lighting restored people’s confidence to walk around the place without fears of being robbed. The gardens created around and the Water Fountain attracted thousands of people to Circle during festive period. The usual heavy traffic was reduced and driving around is an excitement”. AMA should declare war on these street vendors. Kigali is the most beautiful city in Africa because Paul Kagame won't tolerate any indiscipline.

The President has vowed to change the face of Accra, for a start and presumably, Ghana as a whole.
It would require toughness, commitment and a dedicated sense of purpose to make the Ghanaian learn that successful societies are bedrocked on discipline.
Just this morning, I noticed that a slum development has started on the banks of the all important Weija dam. Public officials and Political Appointees daily pass that stretch of the highway but none has bothered to check this unfolding danger. Nana Konadu Agyeman and the 31st Women's Organisation spent precious time and money planting trees to protect the dam and indisciplined elements have without authorisation, uprooted some of the trees and erected garages, mechanical workshops and shanty dwellings on this protective barrier. Those paid to secure the public interest just look on.
The President must realise that governance requires on-hands approach. Government functionaries are paid and comfortably taken care of so they can do the work assigned them. The buck stops with him and he must get grip of the Ministers who in turn must get the heads of MDA's to work.
The President must have a high sense of mission and be infused with revolutionary zeal.
The MMDAs must all robustly clear traders and others illegally occupying roadsides and unauthorised zones. The state would save greater expense by opting for discipline instead of inaction.

if the trader struggled with a passer by for taking one of the wares for free then you arrest the trader, for selling on an unauthorised place
