  I am glad the NADAA administration has come through for these graduates. I am certain there are more graduates out there also looking for jobs and this government will in g=due course take care of them also. However, I am pleading with the MoH and all the government agencies involved in their posting, to make sure these health professionals are NOT allowed to wallow in Accra, Kumasi, HO, Koforidua and Takoradi or Tema when we need serious nurses in the Afram Plains, Upper East and Upper West corridors of our country. We are all willing to pay a little bit more for this government to hire them but they need to go to where they are needed the most. Thanks

  It will be wise to ensure that all the 495 nurses, who have now been cleared and posted, as well as, the subsequent ones to graduate from all nursing schools in Ghana, private or government, serve 2 years of National Service, prior to receiving their regular emoluments. In the first place, this undertaking will instill discipline, nationalism and professionalism in them, like all the other university grads. Secondly, it will reduce the government wage bill, and ensure government's wage bill affordability. These nurses must go through the national service scheme, if they had not done so previously. This must be different from the Nursing Training Practice, which nurses undertake while in school.
