SOURCE: CLASSFMONLINE ------ The Government of Ghana is reviewing the debts incurred by the John Mahama administration to find out whether the loans were used for the purposes of which they were contracted, Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo, has revealed. After the review of the debt situation, the findings will be made public to enable the Ghanaian people realise how their moneys were spent by the previous administration, Mr Marfo added. It is recalled that during the electioneering season the then main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) accused the Mahama government of excessive borrowing but with little to show for, an assertion the then governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) rubbished because they thought they had embarked on several infrastructural projects with those loans. Mr Marfo speaking during the National Policy Summit on Tuesday May 16 said revealed that the new government is investigating all the debts left behind by Mr Mahama. “We are working on the numbers, the ministry of finance gives us the bulk numbers. But they do not all emanate from one source, we have some sitting in energy, some sitting in SSNIT and we are examining all. As a government and we are doing it gradually and slowly because we must be accurate. “We want to be sure that whatever comes out finally is accurate. The government owes it as a duty to keep the nation informed about these debts and what it was used for.”

Ghanaians are not furious about Delta Force 8, but rather furious about NDC Ayariga still in parliament after he sold his country's mineral resources for mere sensual sex. Ayariga has committed serious crime against Ghana, and notorious and nation wreckers party NDC is ignoring Ayariga's crime against the state.
Ayariga received bribe from that Chinese whore. He received sexual favors from that Chinese woman and he freely gave our mineral resources to that woman. It is only NDC officials who do not see the gravity of member of parliament, Mr. Ayariga crimes.
More than sixty percent of Ghanaians are very angry that nothing has been done about Ayariga's pornographic sexual display. Majority of Ghanaians see it as dirty and disgraceful to Ghana's image. Majority of Ghanaians want to see this disgraceful MP booted out from parliament. To Many Ghanaians, Ayariga does not deserve to represent anyone in parliament. The institution of parliament must be respected by Ghanaians. According to our survey, majority of Ghanaians expect parliamentarians to respect the institution.
Seeing Ayariga on that Chinese whore crying and swing his butt so fast like baboon monkey mating hurts a lot. No Ghanaian felt proud of our minister and Ghana as a whole, according to majority of Ghanaians.
Parliament as an institution should take Ayariga crime serious find solutions to prevent such disgraceful act on the part of our MPs in future.

Not shallow mindedness. Wasn't this orchestrated right from the start? How can the police claim they were not expecting any violence and so placed only two personnel at post on the said date? We've had such political cases in the past and the police have always manned the court premises in their numbers. So why don't they do same in this particular case when it all started by ousting a regional security coordinator? And u claim there's no threat? What a master plan...but the monster will surely shoot you in the foot. It won't be long. Next time don't attempt to deceive the public. The law makers n the custodians always know how to escape from the law. God should have mercy on us all.

What NDC did with the Montie 3 that NPP screamed on top of their voices is the same as what their Delta Forces did....if not worse! One of them vented their anger at judeges with despicable words....the other entered a courtroom to release their own......
And we have a sitting president who believes in rule of law??? Ghanaians!!! Are we that STUPID??
AND NOBODY STANDS UP TO CHALLENGE THEM? BECAUSE OF PARTY AFFILIATIONS???? MY GOODNESS GHANA???
Are we waiting and hoping for A CIVIL WAR? (God forbid).....We need to be very, very careful. And the Christian Council sits still?
What is good for the goose, is also good for the gander! I rest my case.
GOD BLESS GHANA!

The State dropped the charges cos the evidence in the docket were not sufficient to prosecute any of the 8. No one is disputing that there are videos of the incident everywhere. The fact is is any one of 8 in those videos? No witnesses could identify the 8 as alleged perpetrators. So unless there is evidence, all the noise will be in vain. The police did not do a good job in gathering evidence. Perhaps they arrested the wrong guys in the firs place.

What happened when "invincible forces" assaulted a police officer(ASP Bruce Nanka) at the Flagstaff House on January 9? Nothing happened.
These same "invincible forces" stormed the NHIA office at Zabzugu and locked it up on 21st April. Nothing happened.
These are some of the reasons why I have been sounding odd about this Delta force issue.
If even these forces can gather the courage to misbehave at the flagstaff house, the seat of government, even with video footage and nothing happens, then there is no need to even discuss the case of delta force.
These actions will continue to go on. After all, when they are arrested, the prosecutors will deliberately provide "no" or "not enough" evidence at the court.
Lets keep on deceiving ourselves. I am just waiting the day when these forces will descend on members and executives of the NPP or even the President. I guess the prosecutors by then will still give no or not enough evidence.
The monster you create today may haunt you tomorrow. What goes around will surely come around.

Comparing Montie 3 to Delta 8 is like comparing apples with oranges; they are not the same. For Montie 3, these are people who got themselves in treasonable offence - sitting at radio station and threatening to assassinate high court judges and were arrested, tried and convicted to prison terms. And for the Mahama government to use an article of the constitution to free them was not right. They should have been allowed to finish serving their sentences. The prosecutors of the Delta 8, I am sure, are not convinced that those 8 people were among those who tried to free the other members who were brought to court. We are talking about the rule of law here. When the skirmish started there were only two police officers present, one of them pregnant, so there was no way they could have arrested them. The time reinforcement came, all the perpetrators had left the scene and other cases were being held. The arrest of those 8 took place at Fante New Town, which is several miles away from the crime scene. How they were identified and arrested as part of those who committed the offence leaves much to be desired.
How did the police know they were part of it? What evidence did they have to arrest them? If they were arrested at the scene that would have been a different thing all together, but several miles away, I doubt it. The police cannot just go round arresting people and charge them with an offence without being satisfied that they were those who actually committed that offence; that is why there was lack of evidence against them. There was no identification parade for witnesses to pinpoint them as part of it.
So I was not surprised when the case was dismissed. Even if they bring them back to court, will they get someone to give evidence as a witness that he indeed saw them as part of the group. They were just arrested in their homes just because the police believed they were members of the group and not that they had committed any offence. It is likely none of them was even at the court. Ghanaians should be objective in issues and come out with proper justifications.

In the Montie case the law was allowed to run its course without interference. The President pardoned them after they spent a period in jail. They are still ex convicts by law. How do you stupidly compare that to people whose case have been deliberately messed up to make sure they don't receive punishment for their crimes? The door has been opened; there will be a lot more of such incidents since Ghanaians now know it's possible to get away with it.
