Who is surprised at this. You will be a fool to die because of Ghanaian politics. No party in Ghana will prosecute their members. We all know this. NDC should shut up. They did worse things.

Hmmm, where is the Ghana Bar Association, the Judiciary Service, the intellectuals and members of the academia? Where are the Reverends, Pastors and Prophets? I hope the Mensah Otabils, Prof MARTEYS and all the loud-mouthed so-called "men of God" will come out and say something now. They were all over the world castigating JM for the MONTIE 3 issue although the whole process wnt through the laid down procedures. Unlike what we see in this case, the NDC government did not interfere in the court processes. It allowed the people to be tried and sentenced accordingly. Following that, it was left with the state to carry-on from there, which was duly followed by sending them to Nsawam to spend one full month of their four month sentences. They were also made to pay a fine of Ten thousand cedis each, which they paid. It was after all these that the president exercised his prerogative of mercy as enshrined in the constitution. Even murderers sentenced to life or death benefit for presidential pardons. The offense of the Montie (which was just verbal vituperation) come nowhere near that of the Delta Force which was a physical attack on the judge and other members of the court system at a time court was in session. There is no where in this civilized world where this barbarism will be tolerated, apart from a Nana Addo NPP government. All the NPP supporters who blindly follow and defend anything NPP appear to be clouded by unreasonable political lenses and leanings. Most of these so-called men of God do not really fear God. They run organizations for their sustenance and maintenance, hiding behind the name of God to perpetrate their hypocrisy, biases and divisive activities. Ghana is really gone to the dogs.
