Ghana is certainly not a place to be rich and that's why Nigeria & Nigerian business individuals, despite all the social problems in that country continue to call the shot in the Ghanaian economy. Dangote, Adenuga of Glo, Sahara Pertoleum, Otedola, UBA, ZENITH BANKS etc. have all enjoyed some form of non strigent dispensations on settling statutory obligations, not because the Government did not need money to develop but these are deliberate policy regimes to create rooms for them to continue to maintain and retain the employment of millions of Nigerians which othewise the government would not have been able to absolved, rather than stiffle them with stringent tax regimes that may lead to job losses. Ghana unfortunately rather engage in ante-friendly business enviroment, while rich people in other countries are carefully protected, the rich in Ghana are persecuted and politically haunted. Any surprise in the 21st century when countries of Rwanda, Kenya, Angola, Uganda, Botswana, Mauretius, Ethiopia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zimbabwe etc. all of who attained independence after Ghana had chalked that success many years earlier, today; all have Forbes recognised Billionaires and Ghana is still struggling to raise even one. No wonder poverty is still so pervasive in Ghana despite everything said about the first black country to attain independence. Its a sad episode indeed.

If you have a guarantor to clear your 55 barrels with installement and it's reasonable, GRA will give you that feature, it's simple. I'm not saying what he did was right but there are things Ghanaians don't know. Loads of construction companies clear their goods via instalment and default 5 times and over. It's the dud cheque that's the concerning factor here. Nothing more
