After the Kufuor government granted Togbe Afede and his group of investors large tracts of Valco land for his power plant for next to nothing, Togbe is trying to use the same tactics to take over such massive prime real estate on the Accra coast.

I'm very happy that these prominent Gas have finally found their voices to demand justice and equity.

It's very unfair for successive governments to give out publicly owned land at almost no cost to cronies for private purposes that bring almost no benefit to the indigents of the land.

Nana Akufo Addo and his nascent government needs to give this issue all the attention it deserves. We cannot allow such injustice to abide any longer.

I wish this petition is well meant because there is the need for these prime areas to be developed in accordance with modern trends.

from experience when land is handed to individuals,it ends up in disjointed projects which deface rather than enhance the beauty of our city.A coordinated project is therefore preferable than those advanced by individuals.

What is important is to identify the real land owners and pay them the going rate and also take into consideration the cultural ethos of the locals so that areas are for ritual performances.

The various regions are mapped out the same and so Greater Accra remains the state of the Gadangbe people. That's the basic truth. Therefore the indigenes of the land must be consulted at all times in any development on their lands. They know their priorities and the governments must listen to them. Yes Ghana needs development AND NOT only Accra. Attention to be given to Volta region, central region beachs . The intertland eastern, western to be habited for safari and so is the north. Government to create Safaris and stop overburdening Accra. And for those haters of Gadangbe people Pl go and develop your Bush regions for tourism.. Am part Akwapin and GA and I stand up for my people. UN will win this fight for GaDangbes. And politics must be left out in discussing regional land or social issues.
