If NPP spoke like this when they were seeking the mandate of the people, would nurses have voted them into power? Politics of deceit, perhaps?

so the nurse who voted for npp, do you prefer guaranteed work or allowance? ndc was for bonding which guarantees work after completion. npp is for allowance without bonding or guarantee of work.

With all due respect, this statement coming from the Minister of Health is both reckless and dangerous for the nation. Bonding of nurses can never be irrelevant. The Minister will do well to come out with statistics on nurse/patient ratio in the country to convince Ghanaians that we are self-sufficient in the supply of nurses to man our hospitals, clinics, CHIP compounds, etc. Hon. Agyeman Manu's performance so far as Health Minister has not been impressive.

So government pays nurses allowances to train them and let them go? That was why NDC bonded nurses who received allowances

IT IS TIME WE FACE the economic to population ratio reality and stop the political gymicks .
government cannot take more than it could , so it is irrelevant to waste taxpayers money on nursing or teacher trainee allowance , we are moving away from government centered economy to private sector economy that could help government minimize her wage bill for mandated infrastructural development , that was the jdm NDC policy which was very sound in economic sense but NPP used it as a political tool , now why are you crying it is irrelevant ?
