Diplomatic passports must be revoked from Politicians who break the rules and laws regulating it.This is serious business and if the government refuses to enforce some authority then we must expect more embarrassment from foreign missions. They are not going to just turn a blind eye to greedy Ghanaian politicians selling visas they obtained through diplomatic cover. We are lucky they are not proposing to strictly the program to only senior leaders. If we fail to take responsibility for how to govern ourselves they will do it for us!

When these MPs applied for Visa with diplomatic passport, if the embassy was efficient they would have known that the diplomatic passports were invalid and denied their applications. That man John is lecturing Ghana Parliament how to manage the issue of these passport instead of sorting the mess at your outfit. Don,t get the parliament involved. The blame is squarely in your house. Put your house in order and stop blaming Ghana Parliament and your self-seeking publicity.

If Amidu chooses to intepret the law upside down, he can do so but I can say that the matter was recently brought to the attention of Parliament and so far as the MPs are still MPs, nothing debars the law from sanctioning them. Amidu's abstruse intepretation of the law does not wash. The fact that the sin was committed during previous parliamentary session does not preclude the current speaker from washing his hands off it. Just apply moral values and stop this rubbish.

I will not be surprised to hear that Mr. Amidu was paid to do this to Ghanaians and Africans, for that matter. Mr. Amidu lost his credibility the moment he left A.A. Woyome off the hook; because the NPP did not appoint him as the special prosecutor. No one is hailing the MPs for whatever alleged wrongs they may have gotten themselves entangled in. We are only condemning the way and manner Mr. Jon Benjamin disrespectfully handled the whole issue; disrespecting all Ghanaians in the process.
