I used that particular road and you dont need to be told that the traffic light is spoilt. The RED light lasts longer than the GREEN light.

The Ghana Government should introduce the ticket system whereby offenders would be issued tickets to pay fine. The owner/ driver of the said car name should appear on the ticket and if he refuses to pay the fine.

A police could ceased the car any time caught. A heavy penalty should be paid by owner if ticket stays more than the stipulated time of payment and if possible suspension of license.
This is my opinion and need contributions. In US the police has a hand gadget that could issue a ticket for offenders when your car registration number is inserted in.

Nobody gives a damn about anything in Ghana and the government....especially the politicians are all part of this CANKER in our society today.

If judges are taking 'goat-bribes' then, I am sure you can imagine where we are at now, as a state.......FAILED!!!!!

Okadas riding around any how, passing through red lights under the noses of police officers, police taking bribes, overloading of vehicles, bad roads, hawkers taking over our roads, bad driving with impunity everywhere in the country, disrespectful youth....you name them and that....in my opinion, sums up what a FAILED STATE we are!

We have FAILED miserably as a nation and even with or without president Nana Addo's speech on May Day about Ghanaian attitudes to work.......talk will continually be CHEAP, if it is not backed by a sort of PUNISHMENT for breaking the law! PERIOD!!!

We all know the notoriety of some of the commercial drivers on our road and I wouldn't be surprised to know that the driver in question proved stubbornness to the officer. Let's not be judgemental in these matters. The truth is,most taxi drivers do not respect law enforcement officers in this country .Can any driver stopped by a police officer in a country such as USA or Britain challenge the officer and even resist arrest?
Let's not prejudge the issues here by simply blaming the officer for any wrongdoing without hearing his side of the whole saga.
