  Minister,why did we have to wait till things get to this stage before.Why are we not proactive rather than wait till things get out of hand?This issue if giving diplomatic passports to friends and cronies have existed long time ago.Now a man who sweeps the streets of makola can obtain a diplomatic passport once he presses the right button.Ghana passport means nothing now to outside world all because of corruption.

  Long overdue. I always wonder how we survive as a nation. Everything is done haphazardly and for us to still go on managing this country is just a mystery. Nothing seems to work right from the top to the bottom. We need structures and accountability as well as enforcement. Ghana is working on just one leg.

  This parliamentary passport fraud has been going on for over 20 years. I know a young man who paid a lot of money to connection man to secure him visa through parliamentarian 1993 the guy is now a British citizen.

  It is amazing to hear that some past MPs and government officials are still using their diplomatic passports. One of the first major decisions the incoming NDC administration of 2008 made was to temporarily suspend the diplomatic passports and publicly urged holders to return them without delay. That was a decision made to prevent some of the abuses listed by the British Embassy. Why has the Minister waited so long in taking such a decision? The President must open his eyes wide otherwise the same people he has surrounded himself with are the very people who will constantly embarrass him. Otumfuo's advice should be taken seriously. Incompetence! !
