  Classfmonline is Lying. Maybe, the correspondent at the hearing is deaf, illiterate or semi-literate. The deputy governor was clear in his explanation that the BOG only played its part as a conduit through which the government issued the bonds, and that everything about the bond was the making of the ministry of finance. My problem with the Black African is that our loyalty appears to be for our cronies, kinsmen and friends, but not the country, no matter whatever damage it does to the whole country. The 2.25 billion bond is one of the most dubious, if not the most dubious fraud perpetrated against this country. This bond was everything foreign and nothing domestic. No foreign bonds for 15 years will be acceptable at any rate more than 10%. It is only domestic bonds that will be ok at the 19.5%coupon rate. 95% of the bond they issued was bought by a foreign entity at 19.5% coupon rate in dollars, and he will be repaid in dollars. At that rate Ghana will have to cough up 400,000,000 dollars (four hundred million dollars) annually for 15 years, after which we will be required to pay the principal (2.5 billion dollars). Meanwhile those who perpetrated this heinous crime against the state have business relations with the foreign entity that bought the bonds, and will thus benefit from the gargantuan reap off over the next 15 years. This is the worse that can happen to us, and yet some idiots are ready to defend them. Today, hypocrites like Jerry Rawlings, Nana Konadu and Martin Hamidu are quiet. What a shame!!!!
