  I would rather people are educated about mining; the good [they already know] and the bad [they know a bit and ignore].Lets have technicians like doctors, researchers, biologists, enviromentalist, pharmacists, toxicologist etc etc to speak on air and tv about effects of the chemicals used in mining. Repeatedly talk about these on air and tv on many languages so that peopel will hear and understand. When the population understand that poluted water in prestea can affect me in bawku they will sit up. For example the contaminated orange or groundnut produced in Prestea could be sold in Bawku for people their to eat and guess what they get poisoned! Then who do they blame a poor good old mother/woman who has been the pilar of society

  I said it. when I heard people demonstrating against the barn of galamsay in the area, I said the demonstrators could never be Natives but strangers. no native would speak against the barn of galamsey.
