Are you really serious? California may use helicopters to fight bush fires but not fires in buildings.

Instead of using d airwaves to spew garbage, it should be used to educate d people. I have said this before ,too much of d airwaves is devoted to stupid movies about witches, ghosts, incessant preaching and tribalistic shows .please refer to what I wrote about petrol tankers, where instead of running from a downed tanker ,they run to and get themselves killed. Please d best educational medium for d masses is television but is not being utilized d way it should. Please it is time for modern hydrants.these buildings should start a mechanical boreholes in their premises and equip them with fire hydrants and supply d floors with d necessary equipment.

No. The problem of the gnfs personnel is that they are too obese, have low IQ because of the mode of their selection. Also their attitude to work is simply unfiremanlike. Just observe their performance at any fire fighting assignment and you will be amazed. For example the first they have to do is for one of them to locate the nearest hydrant. This is never done. Come to think of it do they even know or have Accra city hydrant locations. As for the Billy guy I doubt whether he has any serious fire training. The way he speaks looks like his experience is only on paper. The whole fire service personnel have to be overhauled and fit and persons with better IQ for the job engaged.

What needs to be done foremost, is enforce the adoption of passive and active fire safety measures in buildings and that will go a long way in reducing these occurrences.

My brother you are right. We don't need helicopters to fight fire in the built environment. I suggest installations of effective and efficient fire fighting equipment and devices within our premises. We should train occupants of premises in common principles of fire just to identify fire hazards and to know how to reduce such hazards to as low as practicable.

Is this Anarglatey guy serious at all? He needs to be sent to the Western world to learn a thing or two about fire fighting. He simply wants us to go back to the Ghana Police were driving BMW 5 series as patrol cars. How many local jurisdictions in the US have fire fighting helicopters? But they fight fire with the tenders. Always misplaced priorities derived from twisted mindsets.

Special water dispensers should be placed in all buildings to activate any time fire occurs. This can help reduce the spread before the Fire services support.
This is a High Technology Approach to modern built environment.
