Please, I hope the CEO was making these comments just for the sake of the media. The real issue is with the DVLA employees themselves. Road Worthy stickers can be paid without bringing a vehicle in for inspection as long as the proper people are paid. The cameras in the place don't work when people pass money back and forth through envelopes or in test books.

Not Long ago, d NDC appointed a CEO who abused his office by assigning a dubious contract to a single source company to modernise the DVLA System. The contract was never done right; it was not completed but d CEO managed to "CHOP" US$9.5 Million, for free. D NDC GOVT. did nothing to get the money back. As I speak, that CEO is walking free in Ghana.
Now do you remember all the noise about Govt. Stolen Cars by NDC guys
.... Kofi Adams & Co ?
The faulty System allowed them to get documentation from d DVLA, even though their cars VIN #s in documents do not tally with the VIN #s on the Chassis.
As soon as the new system comes up, most of these NDC Guys will be exposed !!!!

Hahahaha I laugh enter dvla office. Just put bar code on the license document. A simple mobile app can then detect if it genuine or not. If it's not, the details, driver name and other particulars are automatically registered in the system. A copy is then forwarded automatically to the police. Case closed. Oh Ghana when?
