National security isn't for chop chop like police, where no proper sense of duty prevails. They should find alternative paths and stop irritating us with their whinings.

  These unruly and indisciplined lots should not be allowed to exploit politics to their advantage. Major Oduro should thread carefully, and must not involve himself in this case which is dead and closed. The Ghana Armed Forces has only barred them from ever joining its ranks at any time, and this does not translate in banishment from applying to join any other Security Service. The other Services have the right to determine their own criteria for recruitment, and have the right to investigate and turn indisciplined applicants. This is how it is done everywhere in this world. The mere audacity of these guys to go to the press and issue threats that they could resort to thuggery and lawlessness because they have been trained on weapon-handling if they were not recalled shows the type of individuals we are dealing with. Major Oduro, and for that matter, the NPP government should ignore these crooks and let sleeping dogs lie. The Ghana Armed Forces cannot afford to entertain such hoodlums in their midst.
