IGP wants to show the president that he is working very hard by these huge transfers,it doesn't add up to keep DCOP Kofi Boakye at police headquarters to do research,why criminals are at liberty to commit crrime in the country,what the IGP is doing is wasting tax payers money with his unnecessary transfers,for me, moving officers from one station to another doesn't solve crime which is biggest problem for the country instead he must focus on how best government can equip the police force to be able to respond efficiently to crime scene the government must boost the fleet of operational vehicles for the police which normally is the key to success in combating crime by the pokice force.

All u know is tranfer transfer. Upon ur unprecedented transfer in the history of ghana police, u couldn't even handle Vigilant groups just within Ashanti Region. Most incompetent IGP i have ever known.

IGP'S move is not bad at all,afterall,changing officers from one place to another is not a PUNISHMENT this will help the smooth running of each and everyone's ability to serve mother Ghana,It is not going to be like an officer is stationed at a particular place too long and this will undermine the work of the junior ranks interms of a senior officer's favourite whereby in performing ur mandatory duties,then some civilians with (I KNOW THIS SNR.OFFICER THING)it happened to me so i speaking from experience,BECAUSE OF A SENIOR OFFICER'S FAVOURITE,I AM NOW AT HOME ALMOST TEN YEARS NOW SUFFERING WITH UNLAWFUL DISMISSAL and no one is here to help me.So it is a good move by the IGP.pls noone should criticise this fine move

Kofi Boakye is now Commissioner Of Police (COP) and as such too senior to be a Regional Commander. The rank that should command Ashanti Region is DCOP. Kofi Boakye cannot go back ... he is now COP!

Therefore Kofi Boakye cannot be returned to command Ash anti Region. Using the Ghana Army as an example, you cannot use an Army General to command a Brigade; you use a Brigadier.
