Ex-Super Eagles Coach Oliseh interested in Kotoko job

When Kumasi Asante Kotoko terminated the appointment of former coach Zdravko Lugarusic, and tasked his assistant Godwin Ablordey and newly appointed technical director Frimpong Manso to take over the helm of affairs, not many would have imagined that former super Eagle star Sunday Oliseh, would be a front runner for the top job.

The Porcupine Warriors may be looking in the direction of the former Nigerian coach if unconfirmed reports from the source of sportsobama.com are anything to go by.

Asante Kotoko lost against defending champions Wa All Stars in match day 12 of the Ghana premier league at the Malik Jabir sport stadium after Lugarusic's exit.

The Hierarchy of Kotoko have left the door open for both foreign and local coaches for the vacant head coach job as they hope to win the GhPL title and make sure the team does not fail in its bid to qualify for Africa next season.

As Management wished to see Kotoko's philosophy to a more attractive and attacking football, It remains to be seen if Sunday Oliseh would land the Kotoko’ big job.

Despite the Five games winless streak, the Porcupine Warriors currently sit seven points off first place with 19 points in the Ghana Premier League standings
