    What kind of pilot announces to his passengers that he "lost control?" Aren't the pilots instrument rated? So why are they flying around visually looking for a place to land? Mediocrity in aviation navigation!

    D Meteo Services put out the news of the impending storms across d country on Friday. The pilot should have known about d storms before the airliner took off. Accra is only 25 - 30 minutes away.

    we have our own way of getting weather, u wont understand ...u need an aviator to explain to you how we fly and interpret weather, and not necessarily what meteo gives out.

    Such occurrence is not totally usual at all if you're a frequent flier. All he same, flying is still the safest mode of transportation on this planet.

    I saw a lawyer also praying : how did you know he's a lawyer? So, the pilot didn't check the weather in kumasi before taking off? I think before KLM leaves Amsterdam to Accra, the pilot can tell the weather there.

    Assuming Kumasi Airport was not renovated, it would have been a tragedy. That is why we should not put all our eggs in one basket. Every government want to locate every thing in Accra,it is a wake up call for the nation.
