If a poor man steal a goat he goes to jail however if a smart thief causes financial loss he goes free. Hence why this situations happens in Ghana.We are so forgiving but no revert to the old testament.

Compare the living standard of gnat worker and the classroom teacher and there is vast difference.

Back in the 1960s, my beloved country held her own in the comity of nations. I recall an encounter that the Reader's Digest magazine used as a filler.
A Ghanaian Cultural troupe had gone to Sofia under an exchange programme. When the Ghanaians were ready for the stage, the Bulgarians authorities got horrified by the fact that their guest artistes were displaying bare torso, male and female. A complaint was lodged against the non covered torso. The reason being that it did not conform with THE PUBLIC MORALITY LAWS OF BULGARIA.
The Ghanaian leader, whose status was not above a Deputy Minister, agreed to have the torso of his troupe covered with the proviso that on the return leg in Accra, the Bulgarians would be expected to bare their torso TO CONFORM WITH THE PUBLIC MORALITY LAWS OF GHANA. At the end of it all, the Ghanaians were allowed to mount the stage and performed without covering their torso. The Reader's Digest caption was simple: FAIR EXCHANGE.

This leadership promised teachers wellbeing yet they delights in siphoning us. taking 19 cedis before the new increment what did we receive in return? diary and Kominini portable radio which could not function even for a day. though I happen to be part of t he leadership at the local level nonetheless I must say on this current development as absolute wastage and abuse of office. the culprits in this case should not go unpunished after being found culpable.

The GNAT executives know teachers are very foolish thats why they behave that way.Teachers don't demand accountability from their leaders.how many teachers even have internet access to read whats posted here?.some even don't know how much GNAT takes from their salaries each month.Why should teachers have all these associations GNAT,CCT,TEWU,UTAG,PROTAYA.instead of suscribing to only one strong association.smart teachers are duping the dull ones in association dues deductions.

Leadership of GNAT is the main reason for the woes of the Ghanaian teacher. They only enrich themselves to the detriment of the poor teacher.The constitution for GNAT,needs total reformation....
