The other day l questioned why the president will be sitting in Accra and delegating his vice to attend such important conferences. I have seen one thing in the president. He trusts Bawumia more than anybody in his government. You guys should observe how Samira and Mrs Akoffo Addo always relates.Do not try to create any enmity between the president and his vice as well as the first lady. This is stupid article. When Nana introduced Bawumia to the party as his running mate the who party were against it. Even Hon Kennedy Agyapong declared publicly that he will never campaign for the party if Bawumia was not dropped. Nana stood to his guns. He kept faith with the unsung politician and groomed him to be a better politician to the level the party was looking for. Bawumia then became a darling boy for everyone in the party. As a vice president, He has as of now travelled more than the president himself. He has been a frontline of everything going on at the flag staff house. What else does this group looking for at this early stage if this administration? Do they want the President hand over to him or what. Their action is an insult to Nana and his wife. The earlier they come out to apologize, the better.

It may be very embarrassing for the group to realize that their perception is all wrong.

Dr. Bawumia could personally prefer working his butt off in quiet, rather than posing for frivolous photo shoots and irrelevant loud speeches. In fact, it could well be he is out of limelight because of his very busy engagements. He surely is a man of action and I hope when he is ready to interact actively with the Public, he would do so and help the Public notice the great Work he is doing. At that point, the NPP would have a lot to pat its back for, and applaud him as loudly as is deserved.

So, the group must first try to contact Dr. Bawumia, himself, to familiarize itself with what he has been all about, instead of just assuming he has been sidelined.

If the group's close contact with Dr. Bawumia himself turns out anything different that confirms their fears, as laid down in the Article, then it might be appropriate to poke the President for his attention on its concerns.

I don't think the Akufo-Addo's Team merely wanted to use Dr. Bawumia for votes and dump him after winning the Elections. Dr. Bawumia's knowledge and professional skills are vital for the President to achieve all the goals he set himself for and promised the People on.

I read somewhere how some folks think the President may be more listening to, and depending on, Ken Ofori-Atta and Boakye Agyarko for his financial and Economic agenda, after the Elections, pushing the two above the VP. But I serious doubt that such is the case. The VP may be respectfully and quietly gathering reports and plans of action from these two for proper summation to offer his best advice to the President. That might be his core role, so long as the two remain competent and hard-working at their respective Offices. Dr. Bawumia and the President do not have to micromanage, if their supporting Staff are very capable.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bawumia has been meeting with various entities abroad to facilitate the implementation of the Administration's plans.

Therefore, let us all be patient to give the young Government a breathing room to perform well without this type of inimical speculations that needlessly sow seeds of animosity within the Government and the Public. It is just too early to conclude as the group has on how the Administration regards Dr. Bawumia's Vice-Presidency. He is not sidelined. He won't even allow himself to be. The guy has enough fire in his guts to consume any such scheme to diminish his role.

The people there have mouths, leave all that the group said for them. The group says it's NPP, let the party identifies it.
