  Smart would want to know: Why did they sit down for us to slump into emergency before they went to sign a deal which by all appearances was a jerky reaction? A competent government would have had reliable data, done the right analysis to forecast such emergency outcome and taken a very proactive precautionary measures to forestall such dire circumstances. These guys were sleeping on the switch and they are now asking us to understand and forgive their bad deal.
  
  The Ameri deal was Donne is a haste because we hadn't planned ahead and hence the exorbitant price tag. It is akin to buying an airline ticket on a short notice. If you knew you were going to travel to a place, e.g. Ghana by the look of things, you buy your ticket way ahead of time and get a very good deal. But if you sit around, dilly dally and wait until the eve of your travel, for sure you would pay high price relative to others on the same flight.
  
  This is what happened. Mahama never planned ahead in terms of power needs of the country with all the writings on the wall, climate change, dwindling water levels of the Akosombo dam, population growth and increasing demand for electricity.
  
  Guys admit you were incompetent and your incompetence has cost dearly. Lazy kleptomaniacs. All that they know is chop chop. They fool and we pay kwasea price for something that the manufacturer was selling for millions lower. In this day and age when the listed price of almost everything can be found on the internet it baffles my mind these guys want to throw dust in our eyes. Haba!
