The interchange has only moved the traffic from Kosoa to Budumburam so the travel time is worse.

The interchange has only moved the traffic from Kosoa to Budumburam so the travel time is worse.
If the money for the interchange had been used to dualize the road all the way past Budumburam or even to Winneba junction that would solved the problem. The was no need for this interchange if the aim was to ease traffic and reduce travel time from Accra to Cape Coast. It was a political decision and not need or engineering decision. Politicians never cease to amaze me.
The PRO Amadu or something what does he mean by the absence of political authority in the area. The assembly and its workers are there collecting tolls every day. Instead of engaging them so you can work together you playing politics. It is not only the MCE who can act. There are various officers in the assembly working who can act on an issue such as traders on the road.
Finally the students are coming home for vacation on Saturday and that automatically means a lot of traffic. So is it possible that this could be arranged to finish the works by Friday so the roads can be free for use? We need to take social issues into consideration when taking such decisions.
