Ayariga is telling the truth. This so called Ghartey puppeteering is noting but a smack of high level of bribery and corruption. Those who gave the assigment for this research have to be arrested immidiately. Because when something is found expedient does not prove its expediency.

To ascertain the truth of the matter it should be taken to court so that a neutral judges could adjudicate the case.

Altruism, how do you conclude that Mr Ayariga is telling the truth? He testified that the bribe money was given to him by Mr Muntaka, a member of his own party. Mr Muntaka swore on the Koran that he did not give bribe money or any money at all to Mr Ayariga. In the circumstances, if it was true that Mr Muntaka gave bribe money to Mr Ayariga, Mr Muntaka, would have been his witness, corroborating Mr Ayariga's testimony, and this would have rendered credible and conclusive, Mr Ayariga's accusation. Ask yourself these questions: why would Mr Muntaka deny that he passed money to Mr Ayariga? What motive would he have to lie? After all they belong to the same party? Why would he give testimony that would exonerate a member of the opposition, if what Mr Ayariga claimed actually occurred? Even if this matter had been heard in a court of law, the court would have made a finding against Mr Ayariga. His accusation was without substance, because he relied on a rumour. He did not receive any money - bribe money or any money at all - from Mr Muntaka, or anybody else.

A brave Northerner in NDC like Ayariga has defied the odds and have taken the bowl by the horn to disclose bribery and underhand means of gaining favour by an Ashanti/Akyem man in NPP and all our so called honourable members of parliament(predominantly the NPP- who i refer to as "Dishonourable members ) could do is to cover it up by voting against Honourable Ayariga by demanding that he renders" an unqualified apology "
These Dishonorable members are certainly aware of the fact that, if they do not covertly discredit the claims of Honourable Ayariga and are to uphold it and follow these claims to it logical conclusion, they risk opening the" can of worms" in parliament . In other words, if they do not swiftly shoot down these bribery allegations ,it could lead to the unearthing up of our bribery issues in the parliament.

It is possible there was a bribe but we cannot work with possibilities because it is also possible that you concocted the story in your confusion after NDC lost. Proof is the word, Ayariga!
