So I decided to check Ghana news during a staff meeting this morning.My long winded Boss was repeating himself over and over again so I decided to quickly surf for Ghana news.I didn't even listen to the audio before I broke into an uncontrollable laughter which unfortunately for me coincided with one of the contentious points my Boss was making at the time.I had to walk out before I got fired.I am now at the Clinic with a supervisor to be tested for alcohol and drugs in my system.Thank you very much Kennedy Agyapong!

All Ghanaian languages must be referred to as languages and not "parlance" or "dialects" as some people do. Ewe, Nzema, Dagbani, Ga, Fante, and all the others are languages , not dialects. Within these languages are different dialects. For example, the Fante spoken in some parts of Takoradi is a bit different from the one spoken in Sweduro which is also different from the one spoken in Gomoa or Oguaa. Those different ways are the dialects, but there's a Standard Fante which is recognised in all these areas and is written and learnt in school. Respect your language. It's the most important aspect of your culture and identity
