GEORGINA WOOD IS UNPATRIOTIC
The Chief Justice of Ghana is very unpatriotic for blocking the decentralization of Legal Education. Her stubborn stance has led to many Ghanaians not knowing their rights as enshrined in our law books and, for that reason, a lot of foreign entities have fleeced Ghanaians and many of our compatriots are unaware of it.
I am one person who, through my single efforts, has been able to protect many Ghanaians from being cheated by the Telcos through short codes 1733 and 1303. Any Ghanaian who receives messages from these short codes has automatically been short-changed. It happened to me on some few occasions and when I protested and asked for a refund, I was able to get GHC7.55 back - to my surprise. Imagine some 5million subscribers of that telco being deducted this amount monthly. You can now see how the Telcos are making cheap money and repatriating it back to their countries all because majority of Ghanaians don't know law. Later when I checked those behind this dubious deal I was told the company's name is MTech and almost all the directors are from Eastern Nigeria. Initially when I started the fight, NCA personnel did everything to frustrate me but because I had sound knowledge in Global Corporate and Business Law, I was able to trap them after which they had no option than to divulge sensitive information to me. How was I able to acquire the knowledge to salvage Ghanaians? It is because I got the chance to subscribe to a programme by distance learning, at the comfort of my home, even though I had to part ways with some few British Pounds. You see, if the British have made it possible for me to acquire such a wonderful legal knowledge, what prevents our Legal Council from putting measures in place to decentralize Legal Training? My people, I am currently battling a foreign bank in Ghana which is also fleecing their unsuspecting clienteles. I know I am going to win without a lawyer because I have a superior legal knowledge - thanks to the Queen of England who has made this possible.
Well, critics of the decentralized system have argued in favour of quality and my question is; after practicing the current centralized system for decades what have we achieved apart from high court judges taking bribes.

This is really a serious situation and my heart goes out to you. Could the educated ones near or in the village teach our brothers and sisters drinking from the dam with their livestock, simple things like boiling or filtering the water? This could possibly reduce the waterborne diseases.

The Sahel is approaching very fast coupled with the effects of climate change and Ghana needs a focused and concerted effort to push back against this looming problem.
This community is clearly one that could benefit from the one village, one dam policy of the Akufo Addo NPP gov't. Indeed, it has the potential to lift our Ghanaian brothers and sisters out of endemic poverty in the immediate to long term. The kids can go to school, get educated and be put on the path of social and economic advancement. The women can go back to their business and improve their livelihoods whilst maintaining their homes and family creating the conditions for their children to be nurtured and grow with the security of a stable home. Finally the scourge of disease from the current unwholesome water would be a thing of the past.
Immediately however, there are products that are able to treat such water appreciably before consumption and in India for example, it has widespread use. We may want to look into that or our chemists would want to develop a product that we can use so we are able to meet and satisfy the sustainable development goals as captured by the UN. There is a lot of work to be done and it is the expectation the NPP gov't would be manifestly responsive to the needs of the citizenry.

Some of our people do not have water to use but we are spending massively on the importation of V8 Land Cruisers, Presidential Jets, Worship Cathedrals, trips to Mecca, etc., etc.?
Do we really think at all?

This is the tip of the iceberg. Water is critical for our survival. We all should be mobilzed to plant millions of trees in the whole land. Let's use everyone including Police, military, prisoners, students, workers, every able body. Instead of just talking on radio let's be action oriented. This is more important than building a cathedral, free SHS, new airline etc. We must have priorities that will bring monumental benifits and focus on them. All the other things can come later without any big loss to us. We need leaders who can put on khaki and mobilise the people to action. It takes hard work to succeed. Do we think other nations like even Rwanda became what they are by being lackadisical . We must work and stop wasting all our valuable time in churches, talk shows, beer spots etc. Who should do the work? Let' role up our sleeves and work hard.
