I do agree with the ex-president that we should look at the issue at hand on the basis of competence/performance and not on personality.My contention is with the amount paid which does not include other benefits,meaning with the additional benefits it is going to be quite high.When we re-organise the way we do things in this country and try to eliminate corruption i beleive we will not go to world bank/IMF and the government will be able have enough resources for the free SHS.The time of sacrifice is now and all hands should be on deck

Why do we have all these titles in the management of a government enterprise. Why do we have CEO instead of simply managing director. Why is Kufuor talking about patience while they look into whether Opuni's tenure brought in a kind of profitability such as justifies that salary. Can such a salary be ever justified? That is nonsense. Does he, Opuni, go to the farms to cultivate the cocoa farms? These are all examples of stealing with the pen. So is it being suggested that the devil Opuni's salary should go up in order for cocoa production and sales to go up? We have chairman and we have CEO and do we have managing director too? Oh poor Ghana. Do we have CEO for Ghana Education Service too? And for Ghana Medical Services too? Oh, poor Africa! When we have people like Bill Gates being CEOs of companies they have personally founded, we in Ghana have created CEOs for companies founded by the government. Why won't such devils seek to become billionaires like Bill Gates? The presidents we elect and the ministers that are appointed don't seem to know what are going on in their ministries in terms of salaries and remunerations of the heads of their departments. They seem to be unconcerned or unable to touch anybody. It is not until someone is appointed newly to take that position and blows the whistle, that the world gets to know what has been going on. Even then you will get someone like Kufuor coming and advising calmness while they investigate to see whether Opuni merited such clearly monstrous salary by the profitability of the company. What nonsense is that? How can anyone earn 70,000 GHS a month as salary in a poor country like Ghana. Let the farmers openly take their cocoa to Ivory Coast or Togo, then. Buffoons all over the place. When they come to power they are so seriously looking to stealing the people's money that they don't look left or right to see what other thieves are doing. Shameful Kufuor, shameful Mahama. Thank God for Nana!

How many CEO's have you heard constructing cocoa growing roads? Only in the period of Dr. Stephen Opuni that we heard of such. A time is coming when people will dissuade from holding public offices especially if you respect yourself. God will be the judge over this issues concerning the good hearted man that served this country only to be rewarded by insult.
Formal President J. A. Kuffour was in his sound mind to comment on this issue. Why then do we have to insult him. Ghanaians are disrespectful. We all hail the formal President for his meritorious works he did during his tenure of office. Let us respect elderly wisdom for we perish for lack of knowledge/wisdom.
