  Dr.Kwame Addo Kuffuor has raised a very critical question, i.e., are the relevant environment related legislations generating convergent, synergistic or divergent impacts? This question has occupied my mind for some time now informed by my previous work experience with a regulatory agency in the environment sector. I feel that regulatory agencies working together in one sector must make efficient use of scarce resources rather than fighting for dominance and duplicating their efforts. I think the issues raise by Dr. Kwame Addo Kuffuor must provoke interest of researchers and I am seriously contemplating about it.
