  When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Now Pratt has the guts to take Diplomatic Passport and smuggled his weak-headed children to work at the Ministries under Mills NDC, may God forgive Pratt and his dependance and spare them of the evils ahead of them...

  Congressmen maintain homes in their states and live in 1 or 2 bedroom apartments in DC. Those whose states are close by eg Joe Biden go home daily.

By the way I'm not surprised: as far as I am concerned all (African) politicians are thieves, so this is not strange to me.

  If this information is true, the rent allowance for MPs must be abolished as soon as possible. Are the MPs not paid by the tax payer? These are among the leakages in our system!

  Why MP who is a human being like i am, takes 13000ghc as monthly salary, 90000ghc as rent, 400000ghc as ex gratia plus all committee allowance in four years and you give a prof. Teacher 1000ghc and you want quality education.hmmmmm

But, playfully it takes years for people on retirement to be paid their small gratuity ... Some as low as ghc15,000 for for over 30 years public service. Their monthly pension arrears are never paid!!!! They say ministry of finance has not released funds nor approved request by CAGD for payment. These MPs have no shame.

  They all agree among themselves to take it quietly on the blind side of the citizenry and tell the masses that there is no money to pay the 10% increase in national service allowance or it is not captured by the budjet. Workers do not take any money for their rent apart from the meager peanut they call salary. At the end of your 20 to 30 years or more service to the country you should be lucky to get 10,000.00 Cedis as your end of service benefit. No doubt people are killing themselves to get into politics.
