YOU MUST BE ONE THOSE BORN & BRED IN A CITY WITH NO EXPERIENCE OF THE DEPRIVED RURAL AREAS OF GHANA WHERE MOBILE PAYMENTS ARE THE MOST & OFTEN THE ONLY ACCESSIBLE MEANS OF PAYING & ACCESSING MONEY TO AND FROM DISTANT PLACES. HOWEVER HE DIDN'T EXPLAIN HOW IT WOULD CURB CORRUPTION BECAUSE THE NATURALLY CRIMINALLY SMART GHANAIAN WILL E.G. SIMPLY PAY A SMALLER BRIBE FOR THE METER READER TO EITHER "IGNORE OR ADJUST THINGS" TO THE DETRIMENT OF THE STATE. REST YOUR SOUL KWAKU, FOR CORRUPTION IS IN THE GHANAIAN GENES; THE AKANS SHROUD IT IN HONOURABLE TERMS LIKE "AKYEDIE", ASEDA, AMAMERE, TUNSA, MPATA, ETC.

Kwaku Sakyi Addo has just said everything I have always been preaching to my friends. There are many steps to take in order to reduce corruption to the barest minimum. One of the easiest ways is to take away the physical handling of cash by all who do business for the government in behalf of the people. Electronic payment should be the way to go.
