Mahama surrounded himself with incompetent and arrogant people who didn't know the first thing about governing.Ghanaian are not interested in insults, propaganda and conspiracy theories. When my electronics repair business was going under because of dumsor the last thing I wanted to hear from a minister was to count myself lucky because countries like Sierra Leone had not enjoyed power in most parts of their country for years.It is strange NDC still send Koku and Adams out there to make wild allegations and provocative speeches.NDC just don't get it.

Look at the University of energy for the region an old school, 17th century market, Coronation park laughing stock, roads, no structures for the nursing school a whole lot more to talk about. Stop giving NPP credit and blaming inexperienced appointees around John Mahama for the loss. NPP did nothing spectacular. In Ghana, majority of people have the opinion that each government has eight years to rule - whether it's in the Constitution or not, they don't care and there must be a change over after eight years in office for a party. A party can come to the second term with a new candidate or flagbearer and they will still vote for him, simply because the party has four more years. They vote for party and not the individual flagbearer. After eight years there is a guaranteed change over and even Jesus will not be maintained after an eight year rule in Ghana.

The other side of the coin in this political landscape is that, the Asante/Akyem despise the Northerners and do not believe a northerner should not be at the helm of affairs in the country. The northerners are looked down upon as second class citizens and therefore inferior to the Asante/Akyems. These group of Akans were fuming and burning-hot in their shoes to see a northerner as president whiles the country has new found wealth (oil).

The Asante/Akyem big men now have the power and let's see what will ensue in the next 2/3 years - total embezzlement and chaos is what I see unfolding. Their pockets will get fatter and bigger and the economy will slump.

It was a do-or-die affair in the past election as the flagbearer bluntly put it his press statements in the run up to the elections. They manipulated and broke into the EC system, infiltrated the EC database and paralysed it during the election and brought EC to its knees. EC had to declare the results from the fake and corrupted database. Knowing the humility of John Mahama and that he was not going to fight it in court, they bamboozled the NDC to accept the results of the election in a really bad taste.

Mahama did not lose the election because of incompetence, it was stolen from him by manipulation and incitement of hatred/blasphemy into the ordinary voters who turned up in large numbers to vote him out.

John Mahama should walk away and come back in 2024, when he will be missed the most. He is an ordained leader. Nana Addo will continue to stumble throughout his first term and who knows what will happen in 2020.
