  There are many programs such the Nursing training program which are geared specifically towards women.Tens of thousands of women have recived great and free education to be nurses and have been provided jobs after their training.There is nothing like that for men.I have never heard the Government in Ghana asking to set aside a number of ministerial positions for men,but they do it regularly for women.The authorities are always finding new ways to create opportunites and open doors for our women and so I find the assertion that our women are not empowered or without opportunities ridiculous and insulting.Yes,we need to fight and eliminate domestic violence in our homes but that has absolutely nothing to do with opportunities for women.Prof Kuenyehia and women like her do not want a meritocratic society,they will only be satisfied if Ghana changed into a misandrous society.
